BRIC+ Study Tours are available exclusively through PortfolioConstruction Forum (another brillient! publication) and are therefore subject to the PortfolioConstruction Forum Terms and Conditions of Use (Click HERE >) and the Additional Subscription Fee Service Terms and Conditions for the RBIC+ Study Tours below. Please take a few minutes to read both before you complete a BRIC+ Study Tour Application Form, as you will be required to signal your agreement with both, before your application can be finalised.
THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS ARE TO BE READ IN CONJUNCTION WITH AND FORM PART OF THE PORTFOLIOCONSTRUCTION FORUM TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE PUBLISHED ON WWW.PORTFOLIOCONSTRUCTION.COM.AU
BY APPLYING TO ATTEND A THINK GLOBAL STUDY TOUR ("STUDY TOUR") ON THE SITE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTAND AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE PORTFOLIOCONSTRUCTION FORUM TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE AND THE FOLLOWING ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
1. Tour itinerary - The Publisher and Think Global Consulting reserve the right to change the form and content of the Study Tour at any time without notice;
2. Cost - You agree to pay the Study Tour fee and acknowledge that it:
-
is for the amount documented via email between you and The Publisher or Think Global Consulting;

the relevant invoice(s) is/are payable in full within seven days of receipt of our request(s) for payment; and,
-
includes the cost of your airfares, hotel and other accommodation, all meals (breakfast, lunch & dinner), ground transport, travel insurance, pre-departure preparation and materials and tour itinerary but does not include your personal shopping, sightseeing or other personal costs unless otherwise agreed in writing between you and The Publisher or Think Global Consulting.
3. Attendance and Participation - You agree to provide the information and material we request of you in a timely manner to enable us to plan and implement the Study Tour. It is important to show respect to our faculty of speakers. You agree to attend all activities in the Study Tour itinerary, arrive on time, dressed appropriately (as described by us) and in a fit and proper state. Optional activities will be marked as such on the itinerary. Permission may be given to miss sessions in exceptional circumstances. You further agree to attend the Pre-departure Briefing (by phone, if necessary) and review all pre-reading and other materials including in your pre-departure pack, and the post Study-Tour Implementation Workshop (unless otherwise arranged with The Publisher and Think Global Consulting).
4. Rules of Engagement - Think Global Consulting has an established network of professional contacts, associates and friends in China (and elsewhere in Asia) which you will be introduced to during the Study Tour. You acknowledge that this network is Think Global Consulting's Intellectual Property (IP) and agree that before you make subsequent contact with any individual you have been introduced to during the Study Tour, you will do so through The Publisher or Think Global Consulting;
5. Personal safety - The Publisher and Think Global Consulting will do everything possible to ensure your personal safety while on the Study Tour, and those of your belongings. You acknowledge that neither the Publisher nor Think Global Consulting can be held responsible for any accident, injury or illness to you, or theft or the loss of your personal effects. You agree to use your best endeavours to take every precaution necessary to ensure your personal safety at all times. Think Global Consulting will organise basic travel insurance for all participants and provide a copy of the insurance policy to each participant. However, you agree it is your responsibility to ensure that the cover is adequate for your own personal circumstances and if not to arrange at your own cost any additional insurance cover required prior to departure;
6. Waiver of Rights - The Publisher and/or Think Global Consulting may obtain video and/or photo and/or sound recordings of you, and/or your comments about the Study Tour. Your agree that The Publisher may use such material in Study Tour promotional activities;
7. Cancellation Policy - In the event of you cancel your participation in the Study Tour, you agree that:

your notice of cancellation must be given in writing to Think Global Consulting;

if your written notice of cancellation is received on or before 5.00pm AEDT six weeks before the Study Tour is due to depart, you will be entitled to a refund of your deposit less a cancellation fee of A$1,000 + GST;

if your written notice of cancellation is received within six weeks of the date the Study Tour is due to depart, The Publisher and Think Global Consulting reserve the right to provide no refund. We will consider a request to transfer your registration to another person, either within or outside your organisation, but we retain the right to accept or refuse this request.
The Publisher and Think Global Consulting reserve the right to cancel the Study Tour prior to departure as a result of unforeseen circumstances or to ensure the personal safety of all participants. In this event, you will receive a full refund of all monies paid.
